The Australian Multicultural Action Network (AMAN) is a national advocacy organisation advancing equity, inclusion, and access for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, with a strong focus on people with disability, older Australians, and those facing systemic disadvantage. Working at the intersection of multiculturalism, disability rights, mental health, and social justice, AMAN ensures diverse voices are represented in national policy and reform processes.
Under the leadership of its President, Mr Ravi Krishnamurthy, AMAN has become a respected contributor to government inquiries and national consultations. Ravi brings lived experience as a person with a hearing disability and a CALD background and is widely recognised as a powerful advocate for inclusive reform. He has led numerous high-impact submissions accepted by Parliamentary Committees, highlighting the compounded barriers faced by CALD people with disability.
