The Every Australian Counts (EAC) Campaign, auspiced by the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO), is a dynamic, grass-roots movement dedicated to advocating for people with disabilities across Australia. AFDO, in its role as auspicing organisation, offers strategic guidance, resources, and support to ensure EAC’s campaigns are effective and far-reaching. This partnership strengthens EAC’s ability to address key issues and sustain its advocacy for the NDIS and the disability community.
A Proud History of Advocacy
EAC played a crucial role in the establishment of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). As a long-running and highly successful campaign, it has continued its advocacy work to ensure that the NDIS operates in the best interests of people with disabilities, providing choice, control, and support to live their best lives.
How We’re Structured
Our strategy is overseen by a dedicated Steering Committee, led by an independent Chair, ensuring that our advocacy remains strong, independent, and focused on delivering meaningful change for Australians with disabilities.
